Kona, our chocolate lab, despises loud noises. She runs around the back yard in a frenzy when a truck or motorcycle drives by our house. Moki, our lab retriever mix, (she is now 16 years old and deaf) was afraid with the sound of thunder or fireworks. Moki would shake and hide under the dining room table, the noise really scared her. I finally figured out if I turned up the stereo and provided a strong BASS sound, it would help disguise the loud BOOMS.
